   EIFFEL TOWER AND CASUAL LUNCH

   With your local guide and coach, head to one of Paris’ most iconic landmarks—the Eiffel Tower. Located 276 meters above the ground, you will be able to recognize other famous monuments of Paris such as the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the great Arch de la Défense, or the historic bridges over the Seine. You can also discover the reconstruction of Gustave Eiffel's office, the famous panoramic orientation panels, or a model of the summit as it was in 1899.

   After our wonderful time with the Tower, come join us for a relaxing French meal near the grounds.

4. Tuesday

   Enjoy the freedom to explore Paris at your own pace with a 24-hour Hop-On Hop-Off bus pass. Ride aboard an open-top bus offering panoramic views of the city as you pass major landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, the Louvre, and the Champs-Élysées. With unlimited access to multiple stops throughout the city, you can hop off to explore neighborhoods and attractions that interest you most, then hop back on whenever you're ready. Onboard audio commentary provides fascinating insights into the history and culture of the City of Light.

5. Wednesday

   VERSAILLES DISCOVERY

   Today, we spend the day exploring the beautiful Palace of Versailles.

   You will enter seven rooms, each decorated in the style of a God. Next, enter the magnificent Hall of Mirrors, where guests were invited during celebrations. The hall overlooks Versailles gardens. Admire the emblem of the Sun King, Louis XIV, one of the most ornate symbols to represent 17th century French art.

   You can take time to explore the gardens, where statues, sculptures, fountains, flowerbeds, coppices and reflecting pools are all aligned. Under Louis XIV, André le Nôtre designed the Palace’s gardens, endowing them with unique, grandiose proportions. You will also have some time to further explore the surroundings after the tour.

   Once we return back to Paris, you are free to roam the city as you please. The Latin Quarter is a delightful neighborhood, where you can stroll through its famous bookshops (Shakespeare Company is one of them!), botanical gardens, and the Pantheon, an incredible site to see. You may also indulge in a pastry making workshop or do some shopping at Champs d’Elysees. The choice is yours!

   PARIS TO BAYEUX/CAEN VIA HONFLEUR

   Today we depart Paris and journey towards the picturesque port town of Honfleur. Famed for its beautifully preserved harbor, Vieux Bassin, and slate- covered buildings, Honfleur has long inspired artists—including Monet and Boudin—making it a cradle of the Impressionist movement. Its narrow streets, charming boutiques, and vibrant art galleries create an inviting, timeless atmosphere.

   Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour through Honfleur’s historic center. Stroll past colorful half-timbered houses and learn about the town’s maritime legacy and artistic roots. After exploring the highlights of this charming coastal gem, visit a local Calvados distillery to discover how Normandy’s famous apple brandy is crafted. Your visit concludes with a tasting of Calvados, perfectly paired with regional cheeses such as creamy Camembert, offering a delicious introduction to Normandy’s rich culinary heritage.

   Continue to Bayeux, a charming medieval town in the Normandy region of northern France, best known for the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry, an 11th- century embroidered masterpiece depicting the Norman conquest of England. With its cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, and stunning Notre-Dame Cathedral, Bayeux offers a step back in time. The town also holds deep historical significance from World War II, having been the first French city liberated after D- Day. Today, visitors can explore its rich heritage, local markets, and welcoming cafés—all set against a backdrop of timeless Norman countryside.

   NORMANDY BEACHES AND CANADIAN WWII SITES

   A deeply moving day awaits as we journey with our guide and private coach through the Canadian battlefields of Normandy. Begin at Juno Beach, where Canadian forces bravely landed on D-Day in 1944, and visit the Juno Beach Centre for powerful insights into Canada’s role in the war. Explore the surrounding bunkers and remnants of the Atlantic Wall, offering a stark glimpse into the past. Continue to the Canadian War Cemetery at Bény-sur-Mer and pause at several poignant memorials honoring the courage and sacrifice of the Canadian troops. After a day of remembrance and reflection, we return to Bayeux.

   BAYEUX/CAEN TO TOURS AND CHATEAU COUNTRY

   We depart Caen and travel south to the Loire Valley, a region renowned for its fairytale castles and elegant countryside. Here, we will visit a local winery followed by wine tasting accompanied by local products.

   We arrive in Tours, once a Gallic-Roman settlement, is now a lively city known for its well-preserved medieval quarter and as a gateway to the Châteaux of the Loire. Enjoy a walking tour where you will get a glimpse of its history. We stroll through the medieval Old Town passing by the Place Plumereau, the Saint-Gatien Cathedral, and the elegant Renaissance architecture.

   LOIRE VALLEY AND CHATEAUX EXPLORING

   Today, we immerse ourselves in the elegance of the French Renaissance on a full-day guided tour through the stunning Loire Valley. Our journey begins with a unique perspective of the iconic Château de Chenonceau—familiarly known as the “Ladies’ Castle” for the influential women who shaped its history—as we admire its graceful arches during a boat ride along the River Cher. After taking in the view from the water, we’ll enjoy a guided visit inside this remarkable château.

   Following lunch on your own, the afternoon is dedicated to exploring two more of the Loire’s jewels: the majestic Château de Chambord, with its elaborate French Renaissance architecture and famous double-helix staircase, and the elegant Château de Cheverny, known for its beautifully furnished interiors and ties to the Tintin comics.

   We return to Tours in the evening for time at leisure.

    TOURS TO BORDEAUX

    After breakfast, we drive south through the scenic countryside of southwestern France to Bordeaux, a city celebrated for its wine heritage, neoclassical architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour, traveling through the historic heart of the city and along the graceful Garonne River. Highlights include the Place de la Bourse with its iconic Water Mirror, the neoclassical Grand Théâtre, and the majestic Bordeaux Cathedral. Admire the 18th-century facades that earned Bordeaux its UNESCO World Heritage status, and enjoy views of the city’s lively squares, leafy boulevards, and elegant bridges. This scenic overview offers the perfect introduction to one of France’s most sophisticated and culturally rich cities.

    Upon arrival, you’ll board your river cruise vessel by 4:30 PM

11. Tuesday

    CUSSAC - FORT MEDOC

    In the afternoon, join us for the departure by coach to discover the Médoc, prestigious wine-growing region. A corner of the world that produces the most prestigious red wines on the planet, tightly wedged between an ocean and an estuary. A mild, humid microclimate which has been favorable to the development of the vines. We will go through most of the Médoc appellations (Saint Julien, Margaux, Haut-Médoc). On the famous Châteaux Route, we will stop to taste the famous wines of the region. On the way you will see major domains such as Châteaux Laffitte-Rothschild, Latour and Mouton Rothschild. Return to the boat at the end of the afternoon.

    We'll return on board for dinner and an evening of entertainment.

12. Wednesday

    BLAYE BY TRAIN

    We'll set off on a tourist train to discover the history and heritage of Blaye and its citadel. Perched on a cliff with a magnificent view of the Gironde Estuary, the Blaye Citadel has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The garrison possesses immense gates, underground passages, fortified buildings, and almost a mile of ramparts. The defense system created by Vauban to defend Bordeaux from invasions has remained intact. This tour will take you along the historic streets of Blaye and introduce you to the citadel architecture. You'll then cross the vineyards to the Château Marquis de Vauban restaurant to tour the wine cellar and enjoy a tasting of local products. We’ll return to the ship on the train.

13. Thursday

    LIBOURNE TOUR AND WINE TASTING

    Departure by coach from Libourne for the excursion to Saint-Emilion. Guided tour of the underground monuments in Saint-Emilion village. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the medieval town. You will then visit an exceptional troglodytic site with, undoubtedly, its most original monument, the Monolithic church. Hewn entirely in limestone, it is the largest in Europe. You will then depart for a visit of a family-owned wine-growing estate, where you will be welcomed by the owner, who will explain the stages of the wine-making process in Saint-Emilion. A commented wine-tasting* session will complete the visit. Return to Libourne by coach.

14. Friday

    BORDEAUX AND CHARTRONS DISTRICT

    The Chartrons District, Wine and Commerce Museum. Set out with your guide on foot to explore the old neighborhood where wine merchants performed their trade—the Chartrons District. You'll visit the Wine and Commerce Museum to trace the history of Bordeaux's classic nectar. We'll enjoy a tasting of wine.*

15. Saturday

It’s known for its Gothic Cathédrale Saint-André, 18th- to 19th-century mansions and notable art museums such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux. Public gardens line the curving river quays. The grand Place de la Bourse, centered on the Three Graces fountain, overlooks the Miroir d’Eau reflecting pool.
